This adult female bison was feeding on late winter grasses in Lamar Valley, Yellowstone National Park. The picture is cropped from a telephoto image. Having worked with bison for more than a decade, I have great respect for their athleticism and speed.
At 4:30 am a bright light woke me up. Annoyed, I tried to go back to sleep but couldn't. So I decided to get up and look for the culprit who created this disturbance. Ah, as usual, it was that (celestial) neighbor of ours, who keeps hanging around, peering directly into my window with her big round face. Well, this time I stealthily crept up on her armed with a telephoto lens. I got a good mugshot and if this keeps happening, I'll call the police...yeah. 'Cause I caught her in the act and now I've got proof!

Last evening me and mine went to the Grand Theatre, Swansea to see Bronwen Lewis – who you might ask ?
She’s I suppose you could call it , “A local girl done good “. From the Web : A young bilingual singer-songwriter from the South Wales valleys, Bronwen comes from a very creative and musical family. She sang the soundtrack theme song ‘Bread and Roses’ to the BAFTA winning film ‘Pride’ “
I first got to know about her via a Facebook live performance but prior to that during Lockdown she sang from her living room on Tik Tok which set her career off big time.
These two mugs were part of the merchandise that was on sale in the foyer. “Perffaith “is the song by Ed Sheeran , namely Perfect which she translated herself and sings it in Welsh, whilst “Ti a fi ‘ meaning, “You and me” is one that she wrote specifically about her grandparents.
If you want to be blown away as much I was last night then take a listen to her back in 2013 on The Voice.

It's after 9:30am and this guy is still crowing. He takes his job very seriously, even when away from home. When I woke up this morning I thought the crowing I heard sounded awful close. There are chickens nearby, but far enough away that they are not a bother. I found this particular fellow right in front of my house. No wonder it was loud.
