I wonder whether you think of me when you see the sky
or when the rain touches you.

Bali is a province in the country of Indonesia. The island is located in the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, lying between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. It is one of the country's 33 provinces with the provincial capital at Denpasar towards the south of the island. The province covers a few small neighbouring islands as well as the isle of Bali.
With a population recorded as 3,891,428 in the 2010 census, the island is home to most of Indonesia's Hindu minority. In the 2000 census about 92.29% of Bali's population adhered to Balinese Hinduism while most of the remainder follow Islam. It is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking, and music. A tourist haven for decades, Bali has seen a further surge in tourist numbers in recent years... Wikipedia

Everywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you're my saving grace
You're everything I need and more
It's written all over your face
Baby I can feel your halo
Pray it won't fade away
Wishing you someone around you that has Halo for you and people you care, anytime and anywhere.

What else could you ask for after a long and hard day at the beach? An ice cold, tasty Bintang!
Was will man mehr nach einem harten, langen Tag am Strand? Ein eiskaltes, schneidiges Bintang!

Binangun beach, Binangun Bonang, Lasem, Rembang, Central Java, Indonesia.
Binangun beach is located at the Binangun Bonang village, 18 km from the eastern town of Rembang toward Surabaya. Binangun beach is very close with the tomb of Sunan Bonang, and fish market. The best time to enjoy the beauty of Binangun beach is during afternoon and sunset.
This is the most dramatic photo of the group, the place where I have seen how it can be hard to support a family.
On the east of the island of Java there is a volcano, the kawijen. In its crater, sulfur has been extracted since the 60's. These miners go down into this hell twice a day and go up wrapped in sulfur vapors. The load on their shoulders touches nearly 100 kgs and often they are barefoot.
I take one of these pictures near the exit of my house door to remind me not to complain about my job!
Indonesia tanah air beta (saya)
Pusaka abadi nan jaya.
Indonesia sejak dulu kala
Tetap di puja-puja bangsa
Di sana tempat lahir beta (saya)
Dibuai dibesarkan bunda
Tempat berlindung di hari tua
Tempat akhir menutup mata
Sungguh indah tanah air beta (saya)
Tiada bandingnya di dunia
Karya indah Tuhan Maha Kuasa
Bagi bangsa yang memujanya
Indonesia ibu pertiwi
Kau kupuja kau kukasihi
Tenagaku bahkan pun jiwaku
Kepadamu rela kuberi

An old lady selling langsak, a local fruit, soft sweet & sour at times and have to spewed out the seeds. She doesn't have a shop place. She hang out like other poor vendors at the fringe of the huge market or any little unobstructive corners. They were practically left alone by the shop owners despite competing for a fraction of their business, because these harmless poor old people are scrapping for a living. Beringharjo market at Jalan Marlioboro. Jogjakarta, java, Indonesia.
A very photogenic eruption shooting straight up from Krakatau's crater.
Ho già caricato altre foto dei Cavatori di Zolfo del Kawaijen ma ogni volta che rivedo le foto e ricordo gli odori e la fatica.....
Beh questo è un piccolissimo tributo.....
