I was playing with white balance and set the cam on fluorescent setting, and I got this blue tone. It looks like the moon to me, I like it so much. Hope you too! Cheers from Honduras!!
This is another old photo from my files, I haven't had so much time these days for new ones :(
Thank you in advance for your visit. Cheers from Honduras.

Esta es otra foto de mis archivos, no he tenido mucho tiempo estos dias para tomar mas :(
Gracias de antemano por su visita. Saludos desde Honduras
Taulabe is a small town not far from Tegucigalpa. It's famous for the caves, which have been explored up to 12 km for now, even though it's not clear where exactly they end.
It was the first time I ever got into a cave, and I was astonished by the underground beauty. I've never imagined to see such amazing figures just a few meters under the ground. It's not very humid, and not very cold there. If you decide to visit Taulabe caves, make sure to get there early in the morning, because at daytime they are usually crowded, which make the narrow passages even narrower, and less comfortable.
Looks much better when you press L.
Thanks for your visit and have a great day!
A nice sunset in the middle of a Jicaro trees forest! We don't have olive trees, cherries trees, strawberries trees, but we have Jicaro's trees, do you konw them? I guess no, they are so common here because of our hot weather, we have thousands everywhere, they give a round fruit like a soccer balloon, which is used to make a yummi juice, called horchata.
HAVE A NICE WEEKEND MY FRIENDS, WHEREVER YOU ARE! CHEERS FROM HONDURAS!

Honduras, officially the Republic of Honduras (República de Honduras), is a republic in Central America. It was at times referred to as Spanish Honduras to differentiate it from British Honduras, which became the modern-day state of Belize.
The country is bordered to the west by Guatemala, to the southwest by El Salvador, to the southeast by Nicaragua, to the south by the Pacific Ocean at the Gulf of Fonseca, and to the north by the Gulf of Honduras, a large inlet of the Caribbean Sea.
Honduras was home to several important indigenous cultures, most notably the Maya. Much of the country was conquered by Spain which introduced its now predominant language and many of its customs in the sixteenth century. It became independent in 1821 and has been a republic since the end of Spanish rule.
The area of Honduras is about 112,492 km² and the population exceeds eight million. Its northern portions are part of the Western Caribbean Zone. Honduras is most notable for production of minerals, coffee, tropical fruit, sugar cane and recently for exporting clothing to the international market.

A diver hovers over the lush seascape in Roatan's underwater world. Shots like this turned out to be more difficult than I anticipated, due to the strong currents. You have to get low and shoot up, but at the same time you have to shoot quick and get out before the current runs you into any corals. Definitely far more challenging than on land photography in my opinion.

Hi everybody, hope u are doing great. This is a wonderful landscape from my place, I was at the top of a mountain so I had the idea to add the miniature effect, I just loved it. After these shots, had a small accident, was following a bird and I fell down, hahha, it was funny as the none of the birds shots I took were good enough to post here and the knee hurted so much. Have a great day everybody and thank u so much for your visits. Greetings from Honduras!

I took several hours today to finally edit and download my photos from my recent
Bird Photo Tour in Honduras. I saw many new birds and even some I have seen before here in the U.S..
The weather was a little too warm for my liking, however. I had not been back to the tropics in over 25 years, and my tired old bones and heavier frame simply did not have the stamina they once did!
The heat and humidity were really pretty awful!!! Higher elevations did help some.
Regardless, I did persevere and made the best of it despite a nasty fall into a ditch my
1st day there!!!! I did break the "foot" off my Nikon 500mm lens when my rig went crashing to the ground (along with me) and thus had to use my back up Nikon 80-400mm (hand held) the rest of the time there.
Thank the Lord I was not injured worse and that I had a back-up lens with me on the trip.
I am posting this image first as I really like the movement in the wings at a slower shutter speed (1/400th sec) and the artistic feel it emits... ISO 6400
The Hermit is not iridescent nor colorful like so many other Hummers in the tropics, but
it is certainly quite a beautiful and remarkable bird. Enjoy!
This is the "Lago de Yojoa" is our only lake in Honduras, but is huge, local citizens around the area use this precious resource to live.
