Having got up at 4:30am and driven for an hour in order to make my first photographic visit to Beadnell, I was so happy not to be greeted by flat grey skies.
Instead I was treated to a sunrise which just went on and on, as a diffuse bank of mist at the horizon blocked the direct sunlight, allowing the beautiful pinks and oranges to light up the rocks.
In the end, I came home happy and with a few drained batteries to watch the rugby. Think I've got a fair bit of processing to do this week!
