As anticipated, WaMu Family Fourth came through once again with a great evening show over Lake Union. Very entertaining, and worth it every year.
With the long July days, the fireworks was on while there was still a bit of light out, so I had to increase the contrast a bit to remove some distractions.
And it's true what they say, you need to check for wind directions. Wind was blowing in my direction so smoke really built up quickly. And a remote shutter release is a must! Gonna put that on my Wishlist. :)
Oh, and the other trick is not to get greedy to avoid overexposure.
