“How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a weary world.”
Ah, to follow the silvery moon to a new home up where the bluebirds sing....

Guide Falls, just south of Burnie, northern Tasmania.
Very little water flowing, but you do get to get a better view of the amazing rock formation behind the flow.
The sun was perfectly set over this path as I was heading out of the forest. It was my guiding light.
Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!

Cape Foulwind Lighthouse.
Looking back to this night, I wish I got some shots with my 24mm ƒ1.4 lens, I was too excited to have the 14mm ƒ2.8 lens and with limited time, had to leave before I wanted to. We will be back, Mr Foulwind.

8 second exposure with 2-stop soft split GND and CPL filters. Low tide revealed the foreground element under first morning light. I was standing in water during the exposure.
A month or so ago I went out with a friend looking to capture some iconic Chicago scenes. The Kinzie Street bridge came to mind, after visiting it previously with Brian Koprowski. We weren't here long before traffic picked up and threw our cameras shaking. I liked this frame the best, with the early morning barge lighting up the river. If I could have, I would have made a time lapse, but unfortunately the cars on the road thought otherwise.
