Tag der Heimreise mit kleinem Umweg über Tschechien (Nordböhmen). Beim Losfahren, es war noch ziemlich nächtlich, waren da doch tatsächlich Sterne am Himmel ! Kaum über der tschechische Grenze, die ersten Farben am Himmel ! Auf der Nollendorfer Höhe nördlich von Usti nad Laben/Aussig dann dieser Anblick ! Es war einer der buntesten Himmel, die ich jemals sah. Der gesamte Himmel leuchtete zu anfangs lila, so intensiv, dass auch der Schnee lila zu sein schien. Die Äste der Bäume waren durch den eisigen Nebel der letzten Tage komplett in mit einer zentimeterdicken Frostschicht ummantelt. Märchenhaft !

Hier oben auf der Nollendorfer Höhe schlugen die vereinigten Heere Preußens, Russlands und Österreich unter dem Befehl des preußischen Generals von Kleist in der sogenannten "Schlacht bei Kulm" die Truppen Napoleons.

Wieder unten in weniger rauen Gefilden ! 😊

So sehr wie ich diese einsamen, wilden und kargen Höhen der Berge oder der Wüsten liebe, auch ich freue mich zuweilen, wenn ich wieder in etwas lieblicherer Umgebung bin, wo ein Fehltritt nicht mehr den sicheren Tod bedeutet und der scharfe, eisige Wind nicht mehr im Gesicht schneidet.

So I got married, and I got to spend some time with my friends from Europe after the wedding - my wife felt bad that I could not really do a so-called bachelor's party thing.

We hit the road to Pinnacles National Park, the closest national park from San Francisco Bay Area. It was only one night of camping trip besides hikings in the afternoon and morning, but it was well worth it. It's a beautiful park, although it's not well-known like Yosemite National Park. Also I had been to Pinnacles previously only during summer and the weather was burning hot back then. Since this time it was already in October, much nicer weather helped us relax at the reservoir, relax, and hike more. It became another unforgettable trip to us. And big thanks to my wife who is so understanding about me having a trip with a guy after we got married, since my friend lives so far that we could NOT do a bachelor's party thing!

工部的小伙子告訴我(他真的超像劉燁，好帥！）－－西藏人會把自己的名字寫在經幡上，風每吹動一次，就等如唸了一次經。

在旅遊巴搖晃了四個小時，聽到導遊說快要到了，伸長了頸去張看，天呀，這藍色的湖面是甚麼一回事。後來走到湖邊近看，再也找不到這藍色的水了。

The day we did the longest hike ever.

We "practiced" before going to Patagonia every weekend in California so that we can do this hike. We knew that it was going to be a long long hike, and we did it!

Perhaps because we take lots of photographs, it might've taken longer than other hikers do, but who cares, we started hiking at 8 am on that day, under the burning sun we finished the hike by walking back to the town of El Chaltén at 7:30 p.m...

The highlight of the hike was definitely the mountain of "El Chaltén", commonly known as "Mt. Fitz Roy". We hiked to the top of the mountain ranges, then we got to see this beautiful emerald green lake in front of the majestic El Chalten.

This was certainly one of the moments that brought us the greatest joy of life. Of course, more and more photos to come...

搖搖晃晃之中，十三天裡大巴帶著我們走了上千公里的路吧。我們坐在最後排，看著路被踏上了，又消失在地平線上，周而復始，像西藏人的轉山和轉經，一切皆是過程吧。真正的風光，是在最後最後，留在心上的那塊。

整個夜空都在閃爍，那廣闊和無垠的感覺，那渺小的感動，用再廣再好的鏡頭也無法完全紀錄，我想說，我們第一次一起看星，竟然是在世界上最高的觀星台！！

珠峰的星空還是用看的最美－－這是我安慰自己的方式！

那晚實在太冷太不舒服了，只試了一兩張就躲回營幕裡，都沒閒情在那邊慢慢嚗光構圖，還好有亂拍了一張回來做紀念：）

Once a while I appreciate photography more when I walk around prime lenses. 50mm lenses are great for travels when you want to carry around your full-frame camera with a lighter lens, especially when it's getting dark.

It was indeed a day like that in El Calafate. We had one day to spend in this little town, where most people come to see the great glacier El Perito Moreno. It was as windy as many Patagonian places so we saw some lenticular clouds again, and the sunset was of course very pretty, again, on another clear day in Patagonia.

離開前藏，標誌著告別泥黃和荒涼，到了後藏的山南終於看到嫩綠的田野了。

這是我頭一次親眼看到冰川，當車駛離日喀則兩個小時左右，車窗外的景致又轉了幾圈－－由沙塵滾滾的沙丘，轉換成冰封山頂的冰川，那躍然往下湧的冰舌為自己劃下界線，一切都無法逾越，無法阻擋，即使在夏天來到這裡，冰川只覆蓋了山的頂部，但它還是呈現著自己的霸氣。

來到西藏，在每天四至十小時的車程間，看到四季和兩極般地理的變幻（時而荒涼無比，時而漫山杜鵑），你會能夠想像，為什麼藏民叫這些做聖山聖湖，為什麼到處都能夠看到經幡，為什麼要刻苦的轉山轉經行匍匐之禮走到拉薩，因為這莫測而浩瀚的自然令他們產生敬畏，因為生存的條件太困難和基本－－連飽滿的呼吸到的一口空氣都是奢侈的，生命脆弱而卑微，所以他們虔誠的膜拜自然和佛像，誠心的為來生經營，希望來世活得更好。

哲蚌寺是全世界最大的寺廟，白色的建築依山而建，全盛時間有僧侶二萬，現雖僅餘二百多人，但誦經殿的坐鋪著整齊放著喇嘛的頭帽和服飾，是此行中最有”人氣”的一家寺廟了。其他寺廟的誦經殿，都不如這裡的整齊和”有人用過的痕跡”。布達拉宮裡頭那廢虛一樣的殿堂更不在話下了。

一個婆孫倆在一起的時刻。彩色的經幡裝飾起天空和高原，外面的世界好像又大又精彩，目送孩子身影遠去，就進荒蕪山丘，即使有多少期許和願望，每一個選擇，每一步路，其實無法被左右。每件已然實現的真實，不斷消減著可能，不斷證明著可以。
