夜中の３時半頃から登り始め、４時半過ぎに撮影場所に辿り着き、富士の姿が見えてホッとした後のショットです。
雲の動きが速いのと日の出が近く明るさがどんどん変化しています。
It's early Autumn now. The days of seeking pieces of shade when taking photos in the midday sun, are gradually gone.
It reminds me of this photo of the elephants under the shade of a tree in Serengeti National Park.

An dieser Stelle war die Welt einst in Ost und West geteilt. Ohne diese mittlerweile denkmalgeschützten Relikte wie Zaunreste, Wachtürme oder den noch fast durchgehenden erkennbaren und begehbaren Grenzkolonnenweg (einst 1.600 km lang) wäre es heute kaum mehr möglich diese ehemalige Grenze auch nur zu erahnen. Gut so. Allgemein möchte ich hier über den Sinn und Unsinn von Grenzen nichts weiter schreiben, was aber mehr als auffällig ist, das ist die Tatsache, dass sich die allermeisten Naturschutzgebiete, Nationalparks und Biosphärenreservate Deutschlands entlang von Grenzen, bzw. von ehemaligen Grenzen befinden. Fast die gesamten 1400 km der ehemaligen deutsch-deutschen Grenze werden als "Grünes Band" bezeichnet. Ein Begriff, der übrigens schon am 9. Dezember 1989 geprägt wurde und mittlerweile aber auch auf andere Regionen Europas und der Welt angewendet werden kann.

All "X Æ A-Xii" (nicknamed Ash) wanted was to join the Space Marines. Which was a problem because they didn't actually exist. Having said that, Elon Musk was his father so nothing would prove to be impossible.
Elon bought NASA in 2025 and constituted the Space Marines just two years later. Ash was put in charge of the whole thing. This would backfire scant months later when the initial Tesla branded probes sent out would convince an aggressive alien species of giant musclebound wasps that we may finally be worth invading. Ash's lack of military experience would prove to be disastrous. I, for one, welcome our new alien overlords...
Space Marine is just over 2m square and painted on my garden wall for fun. We do commissions though...
