Mac painting by Gautam Rao

This is an oil painting on masonite by artist Gautam Rao. I bought it a few months ago and I finally had it framed. I had difficulty choosing a frame, as it is a very playful painting and most frames + the glass made it look too serious. In the end, we decided to use a distressed frame and rather than placing the painting behind the frame, we placed it on top of the lip of the frame (without any glass). The result is rather unusual and I am very pleased.
