I was at the Scarborough Bluffs on the weekend taking some long exposure photos when I saw this paraglider appear on the horizon and slowly glide down along the bluffs to the beach I was standing on. I was amazed at how it could just seem to float in space and then bob away.
I was taking this long exposure photo at the time with my other camera, but the glider doesn't show up in it at all because it was always moving.
Infrared photo taken after the sun had gone behind the clouds. I was trying out various crops, maybe you see one that would be interesting?
This one is certainly best viewed Large on Black

Hey, congrats on being featured on the Torontoist! Your Bluff shots are fantastic! With so many shots of the Bluffs, the paraglider really makes this one-in-a-million!
I'm an admin for a group called Scarborough Bluffs, and I'd love it if you could post your Bluff photos here!

Thanks Scorchez! I meant to look for a Bluffs group. Loved watching the paraglider bounce along the bluffs..

Talk about being in the right place at the right time.
I've watched kite surfers at Cherry Beach, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone paraglide around TO, let alone in town! ...I wonder where he launched?
