samichlaus (swiss santa) arrives at casa swissmiss

On december 6th, Samichlaus (swiss santa) knocks on swiss doors and tells the kids whether they've been good or bad that year. Samichlaus made the long way to Brooklyn to visit our little Ella and her german speaking friends.

An amusing fact about this scene: I found this swiss-german speaking santa through a call-out on twitter. Timo (twitter.com/newforms) volunteered his time and acting skills on this cold, rainy saturday night and did an amazing job. He also texted me from the diner across the street shortly before he was supposed to show up. Modern times.

I love the internets.
