NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) did that for me. Committing to posting each and every day meant I didn't leave so many good potential essays in my head. Of course, 90% was crap. But at least I got the good stuff down when it came.

I've been nervous about doing NaBloPoMo; I always feel like my blog posts completely miss the mark, and I'm not sure doing 30 of them in a month would make them any more on target. It's good to meet someone that it worked for.

Haha, so do I. I do all of the actual writing on my laptop, but almost all of the plotting in notebooks, and a good pencil is absolutely essential. :)

Thanks! This is my favorite journal in recent memory. I can't wait to take it with me on the next trip (hopefully in May!).
