I saw a houndstooth fedora at Target a couple years back but didn't buy it because I don't really wear hats much. But over the next several years I thought back to that hat for some inexplicable reason and wished I'd bought it. Then I finally saw another houndstooth fedora at Wal-Mart recently and I passed over it AGAIN, because I "didn't really need it" and once again, "I don't wear hats much." But then I thought of it once or twice over the next few days and realized, "You know, I've been thinking of this freaking hat, for whatever reason, for the past couple of years every now and then. It's $8. BUY THE THING." So I did. And that is the saga of the houndstooth fedora, seen here at Whataburger.

Found this Polaroid necklace at a Claire's store at a mall in Arlington and had to have it. Notice the hoodie I'm wearing with a photograph I took of one of my Maneki Nekos.
