The yarn is lovely to knit with! It's about the size of cooked fettucine... but knit up, doesn't look like "tape" yarn at all.

Ditto on what LollyKnit said -- it's really pretty to look at, and I kinda dig how it's sort of rustic looking, but the colour is so high fashion, couture. It's my favourite colour of yarn that Rowan puts out, I do believe, although I think there might be a green tweedy colour as well as a coral one I'm fond of as well, but this is the perfect neutral for when one does not want black. Well, for those with rosy or asian complexions, I don't see it working on olive skin, but I might be pleasantly surprised. But it's great. I love the colour, and the way the yarn doesn't fall into the same shape on every stitch, despite the fact I can tell your stitches are very evenly knit and purled. That's what lends to the rustic quality. Great sample, thanks for showing it off :D

@honeybeararmy: I'm interested to see how the stitches change (at all) when the piece is blocked... I wonder if the subtle unevenness will disappear, but somehow I doubt it.
