Fire trucks at my building, 5:30am
An exhaust fan fire from an apt on the floor above that luckily was quickly put out. Need to buy a household fire extinguisher stat.
Meanwhile the Badger fire in Connecticut on Christmas Day just gets sadder. It seems the fire embers were taken out of the fire and left in a bag in another room so that the kids wouldn't have to worry about Santa being hurt coming down the chimney.
Funeral for the three girls was today in Manhattan.
