Some of the children who attend the school (madrasa) at the
Darulmutakeen mosque in a suburb of Bangkok, Thailand.
The children were part of a group, young and old, who had just finished lunch: rice, chicken, vegetables and chocolate ice cream, which I too had as a guest hehe.
I caught them as they left the dining area of the mosque and were heading off to prepare (ablution) for the noon prayers then class, which began just a few minutes after I took the photo. Approx 3% of Thailand's population are Muslim.

i like the composition, but the tower crop isn't good.

I like the assembly of faces, the angles, the color etc. The only thing I sort of wish for is a vertically formatted shot that caught more of their bodies to accentuate the 'height' of the shot. As it is - it's a touch awkward and feels like there's a bit too much space up top and too cramped at the bottom... But, I still like it.

great colors in this shot, I don't particularly like the composition. I wish I coud see more of their bodies. I have to agree with Detached Retina Imaging.

This reminds me so much of Thailand, children smiling is the memory that I keep in my head of time there! Lovely capture.

Lovely shot - love the different expressions, especially the boy! Shame the composition's not perfect, but that's a fair sacrifice for such a natural picture....
