Lightened

When I took this picture yesterday I was thinking abour Alberta Dionisi. She inspired me.

Manastir Gornjak je zadužbina kneza Lazara. Podignut je između 1379. i 1381. godine.

Gornjak monastery is located in Gornjacka gorge, between Zagubica and Petrovac Na Mlavi. Construction of the monastery was finished in 1380, and the founder was king Lazar. Since the monastery was built, the monastic life went on uninterrupted up to this day. The oldest preserved structures are a church dedicated to Ascension and the small cave chapel dedicated to St. Nicholas. Gornjak monastery belongs to the Moravska architectural school.

Lost paradise

"Tradition is an arrow which points to the future"."There are several types of houses in Serbian traditional architecture. This house has a wooden skeleton which is filled with light materials and mud. This is the "bondruk" type home, which is also called the "Morava type house" because it is so common in the Morava basin."
