mandala ~ meditative practice :)

a very unusual & unexpected visitor (probably a lost or released pet), it has inspired me to get my sketchbook out at last!

other inspiration has come from watching the Miami/La/NY Ink series of programmes. They all make it look so easy!

I found a lovely starter kit at a Craft Fayre just before Christmas & this was my very first attempt.
I ended up making scarves for Christmas presents and am waiting for more wool to arrive in the post as we speak! :)

this is what happened when I sat down to have a go at my funky creature! haha...

I found this envelope from the Vet (Stan, my beloved choc lab, had pulled a muscle last week & had to see the Doc but is much better now, thanks :)) and went off on some kind of tangent.
a good one, I think! found the amazing illustration, which was a turn-of-the-19th-century poster advertising some kind of disneyworld of the time and started cutting! the rest was just stream of consciousness.... now to collect the Inspiration! :)

I will stick this into my journal somehow, at some point :) proper Junkin', eh, Nance?! lol

note to self: get a blog up & running again...
