Kate has a selection of glass sheets - I think the one this was cut from is actually antique glass. I just cut it roughly to the right shape, then used a grinder to shape it and smooth off the edges. Drill a hole in for the hoop, and away you go. Easy, really, if you've got the gear.

True. I'm rebuilding a room at home, and the difference between happy me and very $&%$%$& me is exactly that: Good gear.

Guess I will have to pick up glass jewellery tool soon then!
