The Smokies - September 2009

My friend Ellen and I camped in the Smokie Mountains September 20-24, 2009.

This was my first real camping experience and it was very enjoyable despite the soggy start. By the end of the trip the rain subsided and we were able to enjoy the sunshine and glorious wonders of nature.

We stopped for a stay in Nashville with her parents overnight on Saturday, then headed on to the Smoky Mountains on Sunday.
