We lived right under a flight path when we first moved to SD.
At least this plane has pretty colors!

The roar was quite frightening. I'm sure you get used to it??

Oh Lordy! A friend lives near Heathrow, I hate talking on the phone, hate to think what it is like living there.

Wow too close for comfort! Must have been terribly loud, but what a great shot you got from it!

i live under a flight path, don't notice the noise much in the day, but when they fly at night, usually Fridays and Sundays in the summer, the whole house trembles, it's great, all the neighbours got good soundproofing, me too, pump up the volume, plus i shot two today, wierd looking big jets, we sometimes get the new Airbus here for tests and it flies in low circles, but not shot it yet, as i am usually in the bus when i see it and telephoto is a no go

That sucks! We used to have a lot of military aircraft go over at this low level. Scare the bejeebers out of you if you were doing something out in the field.

Oh I know! Sept of 1978 PSA crashed in my neighborhood. Wasn't my neighborhood at the time. Nobody in San Diego who was there then will ever forget. I remember being picked up by my dad from high school and they were saying there was no need for blood donors as there were no survivors.
