Monday I had a few hours to ditch the housework and go take photos. The clouds were breaking up so I decided to try a long exposure for this photo. I'm surprised it turned out so nice. I was too lazy to take off the big stop filter, and was pretty much shooting blind. Out of 193 shots for the day, this is my favorite. If I can get one photo that I'm really happy with, it's been a good day.

Son #1 got a photo up last time, so now son #2 gets his chance. I always have a hard time picking the right photo, so I went with a collage. The water was so clear and what a great location to shoot surf photos.

This is my oldest son surfing Honolua Bay. It was the largest I've ever seen at this location. He was happy to have Mom and her camera there to capture all the action. Sadly, we have to come home to cold water and wetsuits. I will be checking in with everyone in the next day.

I left the house early planning on capturing the sunrise at a location about 20 minutes away. I quickly realized there was not enough time to catch the color, so I went to my standby location at the harbor. The color exploded after about 5 minutes. This photo was at the end of the color, but I like the composition. Below is the early blazing color.
I have not been posting...no time, but I am peeking in daily to see what everyone is up to. You all are amazing me.

After getting up early to view the Eclipse I saw the clouds and decided to try and capture a coastal sunrise. I was pretty excited to find this spot facing south enabling me to get some morning light.
