a blue throat ed barbet Megalaima asiatica sat into my window today morning. Birds of Indian subcontinent was nearby. I took the book and explored a little. She sat on the book at ease after a while.

Barbets and toucans are a group of near passerine birds with a world-wide tropical distribution. The barbets get their name from the bristles which fringe their heavy bills; this species eats fruits and insects.
