The Esplanade @ Singapore

The Esplanade @ Singapore by supersam5.
One of the outrageously artsy yet amazingly functional domes of the Esplanade theatre in Singapore. Looking at the two unmistakable domes, they look like the compound eyes of a giant fly. But the many many triangular flaps, that give the domes this appearance, can be adjusted during the daytime to block out direct sunlight while at the same time maximizing the view looking out onto Singapore bay and the Merlion just a little distance away.
