sandwich cake

olive nut spread
chicken salad
deviled ham and cucumbers
white bread
4 packages of cream cheese!
sandwich cake by Super*Junk.
i thought it would be nasty, but it came out really yummy on a hot day like saturday.

i'm glad too, because everything else was made of vienna sausages and by the end of the day, i couldn't look at another weenie!

yeah, me and paul had our own sub-theme going with the cakes/cupcakes.

everyone kept telling me that even though it tasted like a sandwich, their brain was convinced it was a sweet layer cake!

I experimented with dunking all sorts of foods into the pink frosting blob on my plate... pink makes everything taste better!

Why can I imagine this starting to "sweat" all over the outside after the first hour? The pink color is LOVELY, but I would be so mad that it wasn't strawberry flavored.

The radishes and lettuce garnish make it kinda healthy. You should try to make a vegan sandwich cake.

Super*Junk  Pro User  says:

what would you put in it? hummus? veggies? it needs to be layers of spreads so it doesn't fall apart

Zero Discipline  Pro User  says:

You could use Tofutti Better than Cream Cheese for the outside stuff, vegan bread, a vegan form of the "olive nut spread" (if it isn't vegan already), some sort of tofu salad, and some sort of tofu "ham" and cucumbers.

It sounds disgusting, but it would be the vegan equivalent.

This is called, in normal society, a Sanwichon -.-

We eat it a lot down here and it's very good. It's just basically and oddly formed sandwhich, with cream cheese, though...that is an excess of cream cheese if I've ever seen one...

It's still very tasty! Try it with some chips on the side, it's very good.
