4th May - more gluing

Megan's current cbeebies obsession is with "Mister Maker", a kind of Tony Hart type art show aimed at the very young (ie everything they make is crap). I thought I'd encourage the creativity by buying her some pritt stick & kiddie scissors but I seem to have unleashed a gluing fiend. She is happily occupied with paper, glue and scissors for hours and begs to have a go at every opportunity - even to the exclusion of television time. Today her Aunty Lucy (Nick's sister) was an enthusiastic glue-buddy.

Looks like fun! Emma also went through a Mister Maker phase (he is really quite strange)

Great capture, love the way she is holding the paper down with her thumb.

Phoebe gets very confused between Mister Maker and Mr Like-a-bike-a from Grandpa in her pocket. I haven't braved glue at home yet though. Lovely picture!

Lovely capture, I remember Millie and the gluing stage, now it's a writing book and pen.

Tom loves cutting and gluing too - we bought him some really cheap scissors yesterday (which actually don't cut!) and he sobbed at bed time as he wasn't allowed "my favorite scissors" in bed!

Gorgeous picture - I can't even see her face but somehow she still seems very focussed!

Amelie is the same, she loves mister maker and is never happier than when she is holding a pritt stick (scissors are a bit trickier as she's left handed)

Brilliant picture! Amy is the same too but will spend more time cutting things out than anything else. At least it's clean mess if that makes sense

Great pic, Mr Maker is a big hit here too (although he bugs the hell out of me!)
