last summer

    I've been going through the archives for a friend and found a few that I felt needed to be rescued from oblivion.

    This is on our friends' farm (CSA). They were harvesting carrots that morning.

      this speaks to my heart, we have a couple of women who run a CSA on our farm, (we share space here, but don't run the farm, though it's certified organic) and our friends have their own CSA too. there is such a light in my heart when i imagine folks doing the crazy labour and work of feeding others, such humble rewarding work. and when the young woofers come to the farm the energy is fabulous. (woofer = youth working on organic farms)

      I totally agree this was worth saving. I was looking at my harvest photos from last fall too recently, mulling over what to grow this year, and what changes to make to my veggie beds.

      I just did this as well ~ went throgh some old photos and found a few gems. It's like seeing that whole day with new eyes.
