My aluminum backing is kinda hurting too from the single time I ever dropped it on the concrete floor of my garage. I had it sitting in my lap and completely forgot and when I got out of the car...smack. Still working strong though, super durable devices.
It is my 3rd iPhone though, first one began freezing randomly and second had the reversed black screen issue. As tempted as I am to buy the 3G right now I'm going to do either one of two things: Wait until this iPhone has issues and go in and get a replacement (2G hopefully) and it'll be in new condition and I'll take super special care of it or 2.) Wait until the 3G is available for order online, because the way things went yesterday...that aint gonna last.
