FinestImaginary - Nope, it was gleaned from various recipes found on the net (and I've heard that most people didn't get good results from Nige's recipe)... I'll post what I did soon on the blog!

su-lin - Thanks, it took two failed batches before I succeeded though :D

kuraiumie - OUI. And they tasted even better the next day when all the buttercream 'soaked' into the macaron cookies!

mr eric - I'm actually bringing back a box for my parents today...HAHA.
