Roosevelt Island Smallpox Hospital

    Aileen, Isuru, Saha and I went on an adventure to explore Roosevelt Island and its abandoned smallpox hospital.

    It was built in the 1850s in Gothic style and abandoned a century later. It's now a beautiful, overgrown, crumbling castle-like ruin.

    Something you rarely see in this country, and certainly not in New York City!
