this is a minuture hex grand mothers flower garden quilt.
The hexagons are 1/4 inch per side there are over 5500 pieces in this
quilt 8 years in the making ( 5 years of which it was in storage)

Actually I am not running I am just going real slow on making the other two all the pieces are cut just haven't started the basting and asembly yet

What an amazing amount of work. I once started one myself but sadly never finished. It was much bigger hexagons though.
This would make a great entry for the current theme of 'Hobbies' in the 'The Monthly Theme Group'.
