13/52: Nova Grunge
I've been really wanting to do a black and white head shot of Nova with a crop down to just half her face, but I couldn't bring myself to crop this one half. I like it just the way it is.
I usually like my black and white photos a little more "smooth" and less "grungy" but not for this one. This photo was taken on Thursday after we got home from Nova's TDI test. She was just a little bit tired from all the excitement of the day.
A couple of big announcements (in case you haven't heard already!):
1. Nova passed her TDI (Therapy Dog International) test on Thursday!! :D I'm so excited for her and to be able to start going and doing activities together. She is going to make a great therapy dog.
2. I am a new member of HeARTs Speak. This is an organization of pet photographers who use their skill to take better photos of rescue animals to help them find their forever homes. I haven't worked with any rescues yet because I'm just getting started, but that's the next thing to do on my list!
