Any way, all I did is create a standard smoke wheel and then,
1.) duplicate the final image in Photoshop
2.) Filter>Distort>Polar coordinates> and then click on polar to rectangular
3.) Image>Rotation and rotate 180 degrees
4.) Filter>Distort>Polar coordinates> and then click on rectangular to polar
I am guessing the original smoke pattern had something to do with the spirals going in two different directions.
