Surface Tension

Surface Tension by suerob.
I've a few photos to sort through from this weekend and as usual not enough time!
A morning visit to the Ashdown Forest gave us unexpected sunshine and a walk along unfamiliar paths, with a couple of nice ponds at which we hoped to find dragonflies but had to settle for hundreds of Pond Skaters instead.
An over-friendly dog might have had me in this pond but for a called-out warning just before it nudged me from behind!

I love this - it's like it's standing on a thin sheet of plastic that it might burst through at any second!

Fantastic capture! Glad the dog didn't knock you into the water. Your camera might have been ruined, not to mention your dignity.

Carol - the pond was quite deep so I, too, was glad I didn't end up in it!

Thank you all :)
