Xray many dollars. No insurance until March 1st. FUCK.
FYI: It took me two seconds to snap the picture with my phone. I was not allowed near the machine because of the radiation. I also wanted to remember the event since it's the first time either of my kids ended up in the hospital. If he had been at all traumatized I wouldn't have taken a picture. Note: there are no pictures of him getting lidocain. No pictures of him having his toenail removed.
Though I wish I had taken a picture of the look on his face when he saw his new foil faux toenail. Awesome.

Calmness in a kid - he's going to be a great man at his children's birth.

Remember back in school when we all rearranged our desks into a new configuration every few weeks? Well one week I was moving my desk and it crashed over SMASHBANG onto my big toe. I lost the nail too. All the kids filed past me in the nurses office to see it. I was never so popular. (work it, Max!)

I feel really bad for him. Total superhero.
Also I feel really bad for you that you have to have such a disclaimer on pics to keep dumbasses from making dumbass judgmental comments.
