    i am wondering how i keep the dressing her thing going? threats or rewards? i don't want her at school in her tutu and sparkly red shoes is that so wrong?

    Don't buy anything you can't stand. Mysteriously 'lose' all clothes you hate. Don't take her shopping. Order everything online and let her choose from those choices. Buy less, but buy it from specific stores you can stand....like MiniBoden.

    I'm with Melissa. Do all their shopping WITHOUT them for as long as you possibly can. When they do catch on and want some choice (damn them) only buy things that easily 'go' with all their other clothes, nothing you hate.

    And when they do come up with some really 'interesting' combinations ask yourself, "Do I REALLY want to duke it out this morning or will she realistically survive if she goes to school like THAT?" (Mind you my girls are still 9, ask me again when they are teens and going out the door in slut wear..)
