This is what my kitchen currently looks like.

Not keeping it together very well over here.

Column to write, 40th birthday party to plan, birthday surprises to pull off, sites to keep fresh, kids to drive to playdates....

I guess house is taking a back seat this week.

I need a nanny.
And a wife.

My kitchen, and dining room, and living room, and bathroom that we are remodeling, would make you feel so much better if you saw them. Instead of using the time that I have while the baby naps, I am sitting on the couch with my laptop.

Um...the counters are still shiny, right? That means there's nothing growing on them. I also can SEE countertops--better than the alternative.

While I agree you deserve a nanny and a wife, your kitchen looks fine.
