Loonies (the Canadian 1 dollar coin), quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies line the colourfully tiled bottom of this good luck fountain in the middle of a plaza Lisa and I were doing some shopping in today.

Not the swirls and distortions caused by the constantly moving water.

Each coin (hopefully!) represents a happy wish made by someone...I can't remember which two they are, but Lisa's and I's coins are in there as well!

I hope she wished that we would be together forever...that was my wish!

Another beautiful batch of roses from the lovely new Farmers Market that Lisa and I have been visiting; I thought these yellow ones were especially beautiful!

I have also just been informed that yellow roses symbolise best wishes, friendship, and joy, as well as having a strong connection to Texas!

A shot taken at the dog run a few weeks ago; a huge number of mallards were gathered on a long ice floe in the middle of the Bow River, covering the ice densely as far as the eye could see in either direction.

That, combined with the magic hour light illuminating everything, made for a very pretty scene!

You guys might remember this snappily attired Pit Bull from a photo I posted recently; here is another shot, side profile this time, of him running around, chasing after a ball that has been hurled by his owner.

He was so fun to watch romp around!

The beautiful Calgary waterfront, taken from the car driving out of downtown a few weeks ago.

A spectacular sky plus gorgeous city lights made this truly a wonderful night for photos.

Too bad there isn't really anywhere to stop and get out for photos along this road without being hit by other cars, or at least causing a major traffic disruption...Lol!
