Yosemite in Late Afternoon
I spent about a week in Yosemite, and every day had slightly different light. I was quite sad there was no snow the entire time, but I am excited to go back and see it!
Even though there was no snow, I was quite cold. I tried out a new set of gloves which were quite crappy. I think the only kind of situation I like when it is cold is those mittens that flip up so I can use my fingers. I had the perfect mittens, but then I lost one of them, so now I only have one mitten, and this is a sad thing.

It's a strong composition but I'm not sure if I like the strong blue cast on the photo. I'd prefer the tones on Nietnagels photo. I suppose it's fog but the top of the trees towards the bottom left look overdodged. It must be an awesome place to be at.

Gorgeous view and the cold is evident! Nice colour teatment. Snow would be nice but it's just white! And even colder. Best think ski clothing.

I love the effect of the light in the trees below. I know how you feel losing one glove, it`s better to lose both because the one left only reminds me how much I liked wearing them lol

I think I was there about the same time. yeah weird they didn't have much snow until almost Feb. But it always makes for good light.

My hands get cold at the drop of the hat so I'm always on the lookout for better ways to keep them warm. Gloves don't do anything for me so I've settled on a pair of Swany Toaster Arctic mittens from www.swamyamerica.com/ . They are hybrid's with a zipper that allows a gloved hand to emerge and control the camera.
