Reaping the Storm

Reaping the Storm by Stuck in Customs.
See that tiny storm on the left? See those tipis there on the right? That's where I slept all night through the storm!

So, a word of warning... you may not want to travel with me. I come up with good ideas like sleeping in a tipi in the middle of the stormy season in Montana like this. There's a lot more good ideas where that one came from. At least I can promise it will always be an adventure... and you won't get much sleep!

By the way, this is not an traditional HDR photo... I used LucisArt 6.0... working on a new tutorial for it!

It could be in the middle of a monsoon, and somehow, I think I would still enjoy the trip! Very cool. Looking forward to the tutorial. I was thinking about buying that program :)

Well, better in a tipi during a storm than just in a sleeping bag and run over by that tractor. Nice image

Intersting treatment and perspective...LucisArt plugin is awesome!
This seems more 'natural' and maintains the signature HDR impact...
Tipis, Tractores and Torrential downpours...sounds fun :-D
Congrats!

I don't sleep anyways. But in a tipi, in a storm, no thank you. I need to be indoors during a storm.

Great shot though. The storm on the left is fascinating. Great detail with the rain.

Lucis was designed for stormy skies I think. Beautiful pic. Great idea with the teepees (that's just the way like to spell it, and it's still valid); it's so native american. If you could have shot a deer with an arrow, and slaughtered it for dinner, that would have really put you in the right frame of mind for a victory dance around the campfire.

Great story and great image. Stunning countryside scene. Never going to get my wife to ever to stay in a tent overnight, most especially through a storm. This would have to be either by myself or with other company who can brave the elements.
