The Red Palacial Tower

The Red Palacial Tower by Stuck in Customs.
Here within the sprawling palace of Akbar, just outside of Agra, is another intricately designed tower. The redness of everything was even hotter in the Indian sun, and the deep textures bled through.

This is such a fantastical building, something out of Dune, or maybe Escher-- you wouldn't even need HDR to give it that otherworldly quality. I am a big fan of your lens and the effect that seems to spring this intricate subject out of the lines and horizons of every day perspective, to uproot it.. I think you've also captured something of the myth of the Agra fortress, the desert Warrior - you could imagine a whole novel around this one photograph. Anyway I like it!

This is amazing, I love the geometry of the building and how surreal it looks. Did you happen to use a wide angle on it or is it just due to the editing that gives it such vast depth. Or I'm just completely out of the loop..
