Indonesian Girl with Hat

This girl had traveled from a remote part of Indonesia to visit Borobudur. She had never seen a white guy in person before... I told her that I might be kind of a disappointment since I am a fairly average white guy. She saw the freckles on my arm and asked if I had a disease...

Precious face! I love the texture work. I really do need to look into your texture tutorial, since I so enjoyed and learned from your HDR tutorial. I also need to get to Borobudur. Been living here in Indonesia for two years and have not made it there yet. I just have not gotten over the frequent aircraft disasters on Indonesian carriers and the train takes forever!

hahah that would of made me laugh if that had been me.
I too have freckles, not as many as I used to have as a kid though.

Be proud you set a specific view in what she thinks a white man looks like now!
