After the Yellowstone Fires

After the Yellowstone Fires by Stuck in Customs.
The fire burned through about a third of the park about 20 years ago. There are still several areas where all the trees stand alone like charred corpses under the burning sun.

Regulars get tired of the following daily message, but if I remove it, then I keep getting the same kinda emails: This is from My Tutorial right here - I have over 17,000 unread emails - sorry but I am too swamped - but most of you ask for that tutorial, so there it is! :)

from my daily photo blog at www.stuckincustoms.com

Jacob's ladder (though a bit tough to climb). What a fantastic perspective, Trey. You certainly pushed the lens here but with great result.

Remnants of 1988 Yellowstone Fires

Awesome shot! I'm attaching a photo of my recent shot at Yellowstone a few days apart from your great shot. I didn't have much time to spare and took this shot while driving. This was from the West Yellowstone area going to Old Faithful. Loved your photo as you had the sun. I was there early morning to make time to fly out back to Austin, Tx before going to New Orleans.
