The Burning Sun in Cambodia

The Burning Sun in Cambodia by Stuck in Customs.
I've never sweat as much in my life as I did while exploring the remote parts of Cambodia. This temple was about an hour by sketchy motorbike outside of Siem Reap. There was absolutely no shade anywhere, since the only parts of the temple that remained standing offered no cover at all!

You are so lucky to be able to travel to such remote places. Maybe someday I will be able to go to these places, but until then I will just have to dwell on my little college campus. Keep up the good work, you are an inspiration to us all.

Your treatment of this one is a far-from-obvious one, and it works so well. Nice one - faved for when I'm in need of inspiration and find myself in sun-parched ruins :-)

Nice use of the sepia tint. Excellent off center composition, you could monochrome this in magenta too and it wold look sweet.
It is good that you progress and do not get stuck on any one style.

Amazing! Love your decision to use brown tone - adds interest and intensity and forces the eye to focus on texture - the clouds seem to blend into the texture of the stone. Great composition using the sun to your advantage to create a white hot feel. Wonderful image.
