Fireworks from the London Eye on the Thames New Year 2007

The London Eye is 135 metres (443 feet) high.
How high is that? 250 meters? 300?

JamesCummings says:

The perception of height is possibly illusory, because the firework could be much lower in the foreground. (But, that said, watching it on tv it certainly looked like there were some very high ones.)

The fireworks were directly above the eye (a pair of barges werein the thames launching most of them), so the height is real, I believe.
