Why did I post this, it's not a landscape? Well, 3 reasons…
1) I'm keen not to be pigeoned holed as a landscape only photographer. I really love all kinds of photography, in fact I take more people shots than I do landscapes, I just rarely post them here because they are mostly of my kids.
2) The light was positively glowing last night at around 7.30pm… even indoors. I feel alive when the evenings are light.
3) There was a specific reason for this shot, I have a feature in the Gallery section of this month's "Digital Photo Magazine", which I wanted to share. Rather than a straight-forward page grab, I wanted to put a bit of context into the shot… I got carried away, and this ended up looking a lot cuter than I intended :-) My daughter's now reading the article to her captive (and slightly stuffed) audience.
This is the third magazine article I've had in as many months… they say things come in threes, so thats my run over now. I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who follows my little bit of flickr and comments on my stuff, its only through your activity that my work has been noticed at all…
