Taken from the beach at Kildonan on the southern tip of Arran at about 9.30pm. Again a long exposure with me handholding the grad because I don't have an adaptor for the long lens!
The mist / half light meant Aisla Craig could just be seen lurking in the background so I wanted a simple/clean composition hence the completely smooth sea and lots of sky. Getting the tripod just right with a long lens in the near dark was a proper nightmare.
ISO50, 190mm, 100sec@f20, 0.6ND soft grad.
