Snow Ball

It doesn't seem to matter what's around - snowballs, frisbees, whatever - it's still just the ball that matters with Rosie.

Got her a frisbee for Christmas, she thinks it's for chewing on.

Threw snowballs for her - she just flinches as they fly through the air and looks at you expectantly for the ball to be thrown...

It's not that she's got a one track mind, though...food trumps a ball, any day of the week.

    She's happy in black

Love the series! It doesn't look like you had much light, and yet your action shots are so clear and crisp...I have a hard time even in good light!!

    6. Anda74 (41 months ago | reply)

Happy Rosie - and yes, it's always the ball. Secret is to only take outside the frisbee and not give her a choice for the ball :) I like the desaturated look in this series.

    7. Stuart`Dootson (41 months ago | reply)

Erin - there wasn't *that* much light, but the snow was reflecting it nicely, giving sufficient for nice high shutter speeds.

Anda - even when I only take out the frisbee, she finds an option she prefers :-) Namely chewing the darn thing and taunting me to make me chase her :-)

She is so much fun to watch :) Seeing Rosie shots makes me smile big. :D

What kind of harness do you use on her? It looks very sturdy..(we're looking for new one for the beagle...)

Love the feeling of movement in these shots and the intense look on Rosie's face. She does look in danger of looping her front paw through the rope and sending herself sprawling.

What a relief! From the thumbnail I thought it was a blood thirsty monster hunting down a photographer:) Rosie is as cute as ever.

What a nice field to run free in, that is, as long as there's a ball for Rosie to fetch.

What a great series! I know, Chuppy chooses only the balls. He has frisbees but doesn't have the hang of them yet. Love the series! :) Out of a bunch of toys, its always the ball that is chosen!
