Katy Keene Paper Doll 1956

Every issue of Katy Keene Comics in the 1950s devoted one page to paper dolls -- sometimes featuring Katy, sometimes Gloria, sometimes Katy's repulsive little sister. This steamy pose of Katy's is far and away my favorite. If you buy a VINTAGE Katy Keene comic now, be sure that the paper doll page is intact and not desecrated by some thoughtless child 50 years ago.

Aunt Buzzard: I have a few I've picked up over the years, but 90% are so juvenile they don't encourage re-reading. The eye-candy I look for is not often present -- sometimes the paper dolls are of Katy's little sister, for God's sake -- but when they're there, as in the page above, they can be totally satisfying.

I know what you mean - Katy was the best! Around 20 years ago, I was able to find a couple of reproductions, but they were the size of Reader's Digest. Not the real thing, but better than nothing. Um, I named my second daughter 'Katy' - does that tell you how I feel about Katy Keene? ;)
