self-portrait with a scoop of identity-theft performance art on the side?

i've been to baseball games here where there is a promotion called "show us your visa card" -- people pull them out and hold them up to try to win a prize. i have been so tempted to post a photoessay of credit cards from that little stunt along with a bunch of questions like yours, but somehow i get interested in other stuff instead.

in california there is legislation that calls out a drivers license number as personally identifiable information. this law, SB1386, will probably go nationwide here in the states.

now, you can post the info all you want, however if the info leaked from a company that held your information, they are required to notify you of the leak. so, i guess in this case, notify yourself.

I'm arranging to have a large box of tranvestite porn shipped to your address.
But maybe you'll consider that more of a benefit than an implication.

Call me paranoid but someone who figures you must have some good photo & computer equipment now knows where he can go get it.

i have a 200 dollar camera that i bought almost two years ago and a middle of the road laptop i bought a year ago [through i'm about to upgrade it slightly] .. and that's that.

I'm arranging to have a large box of tranvestite porn shipped to your address.

what are you doing with enough transvestite porn to fill a large box, tara, other than shipping it to me?

i think you should do that .. sounds like an interesting project.

or maybe a flickr group .. "photograph your credit card" : )

so, i guess in this case, notify yourself.

consider it done.

It's like those record clubs...I signed up for the trial offer years ago and now it won't stop coming.

Those transvestite porn of the month clubs are the worst. You forget to return the damn card on time and bam, you get a mailbox full of transvestite porn you didn't really want.

I have to laugh at the fact that the Google satellite photos that Sandrino referenced shows Edmonton blanketed by snow ... does that ever change much?? :P
